We’re rolling down the tarmac in Philadelphia, about to take off for Denver. It’s 1630 Denver time, Tuesday 11/6 - I’m scheduled to touch down at 2030. Four more hours to enjoy the remnants of and reflect on my latest in a series of life adventures. Sorry, readers, for my silence the last several days. If you’ve followed the passage, or Facebook posts, you should be aware that I reached Bermuda, surviving another Atlantic crossing. What might be unknown, is that I’ve left the boat, two weeks ahead of schedule.
I just finished updating our journey through Wednesday, and while it is fresh, I decided to continue writing. I am sitting in the saloon, down below. The sun is making its way across the water, the breeze has been a constant 15-20 knots all day, and the boat is listing to port, gently pushing me against the settee cushion.
